The color of the sea, the rustic living quarters, and the mood of the location are captured enchantingly in this original art work, signed Ruth.
The framing was clearly professional, and performed quite some years ago. There is a fabric accent, reminiscent of a mat, along the inner edge of the frame. This fabric is discolored, such that replacing the fabric is probably desireable. It should not be difficult to do.
The wooden, hand carved frame is otherwise in good shape, with only the age-related wear and fading that is consistent with its likely mid-century origin.
