This beautiful piece was created sometime between 1790 and 1850. It is an original woodblock artwork from Japan. The artist is Kitagawa Fujimaro and he lived during those years. I have found 2 different titles to this piece: “Picnic by the Seashore” and “Beauties Along the Coast”. It’s in amazing condition. Lovely bamboo shaped frame. I recently had the backing redone, so some pictures were done while it was open - see last 3 pictures. Acid free products were used. A different piece by this artist recently sold at Christie’s for over $21,000.I will be listing another woodblock art piece by a different artist, but it has matching frame and matting.
