A stunning planished polished copper art piece with a gorgeous patina. Created and signed by artist H. Alfred Jackson, of Alert Bay, B.C., and a member of the Kwakwaka’wakw (formerly Kwakiutl) Nation - born in the Namgis Tribe in 1953. The metal catches the light so beautifully, it's truly hard to capture it correctly on camera. I have only found one or two similar pieces by the artist online, so not sure if my description of the actual materials is fully accurate, it may potentially be silver plated. I am by no means an expert. From what I could gather this was possibly made in the early 90s, and is in good vintage condition, with only a few light scratches. Happy to answer any questions and willing to accept any reasonable offers.
