Issued in 1968 with the word GOD in the Poem. IN 1968 The Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms and Tobacco banned the use of the word GOD on alcohol bottles. The bottles were recalled and destroyed. They were reissued with the word “be” in place of GOD.Don’t know how many bottles got out, but that same year they stopped producing the “God” bottles and changed the phrase to “prase be”. So I think the “God” bottles are the rarest of the full set of 30.The Wearing of the Green" is an Irish street ballad lamenting the repression of supporters of the Irish Rebellion of 1798.
